"Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. For what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (NET)

Happy (belated) Birthday to you both! How cool is it that you get to share a birthday with your son?! Like a true schmo, I haven't gotten a card in the mail just yet, but I will. :o)
Thank you, Kirsten.
And, no worries about the card. You are talking to the queen of belated birthdays.
It is fun to share a birthday with Luke. Although I have to agree with my sis-in-law Amy, this year my birthday has been much less painful than last year. I am also more comfortable and agile this year. I look forward to celebrating the coming birthdays with with cakes shaped like trucks, motorcycles, or Winnie the Pooh. I really enjoy having an excuse for a party, but with the focus on Luke rather than me.
Happy birthday, Christin and Luke! If I am remembering correctly, Rebecca and Josh share an anniversary with Caleb's birthday. So funny to have two friends whose sons were born on significant days in their own lives.
By the way, those cakes in your pictures are HUGE and FULL OF CANDY -- wow!! and yum!! :)
Happy Belated Birthday Christin and Luke! Looks like it was a fun party
Where, oh where has my Christin gone?
Where, oh where can she be?
Missing you in WA!! :o)
